Cairo & Giza Region

  • Pyramids of Giza & The Great Sphinx: Located on the Giza Plateau near Cairo. Features the Great Pyramid of Khufu, Khafre, and Menkaure. Built during the Fourth Dynasty (c. 2600–2500 BCE) as royal tombs. The Sphinx, carved from a single limestone ridge, guards the complex.

  • The Grand Egyptian Museum (GEM): Situated near the Giza Pyramids. Holds over 100,000 artifacts, including the complete collection of King Tutankhamun's treasures.

  • The Egyptian Museum (Tahrir Square): Located in central Cairo. Houses a vast collection of Pharaonic antiquities, Greco-Roman artifacts, and ancient papyri.

  • Khan el-Khalili & Historic Cairo: A historic bazaar established in the 14th century, filled with narrow alleys, spice markets, traditional cafes, and Islamic architecture including the Citadel of Saladin and the Mosque of Muhammad Ali.

  • Saqqara Necropolis: Located 30 km south of Cairo. Home to the Step Pyramid of Djoser—the world's oldest major stone structure—and several newly excavated Old Kingdom tombs.

Luxor (Ancient Thebes)

  • Valley of the Kings: West Bank of the Nile. Contains 63 known royal tombs carved into the desert rock, including those of Tutankhamun, Ramesses II, and Seti I, featuring vibrant preserved wall reliefs.

  • Karnak Temple Complex: East Bank of the Nile. The largest ancient religious complex in the world, famous for the Great Hypostyle Hall containing 134 massive sandstone columns.

  • Luxor Temple: East Bank of the Nile. Built primarily by Amenhotep III and Ramesses II, connected to Karnak by the 3-kilometer Avenue of Sphinxes.

  • Temple of Hatshepsut (Deir el-Bahari): A terraced mortuary temple built into the cliff face, dedicated to one of ancient Egypt's few female pharaohs.

Aswan & Abu Simbel

  • Abu Simbel Temples: Located near the southern border with Sudan. Twin rock-cut temples carved into a cliff face under Ramesses II, featuring four 20-meter seated statues of the pharaoh at the entrance. Relocated in the 1960s to avoid flooding from Lake Nasser.

  • Philae Temple Complex: Situated on Agilkia Island. Dedicated to the goddess Isis, constructed during the Ptolemaic and Roman periods.

  • Aswan High Dam & Unfinished Obelisk: Highlights modern engineering alongside ancient stone-quarrying techniques.

Red Sea & Desert Regions

  • White Desert National Park: Located in the Western Desert near Farafra. Known for natural chalk and limestone formations shaped by wind erosion over thousands of years.

  • Sharm El-Sheikh & Dahab: Coastal hubs on the Sinai Peninsula, world-renowned for Red Sea scuba diving along the Ras Mohammed National Park and the Blue Hole.
