Israel Tourist Visa
Entry requirements for tourists visiting Israel depend on your citizenship.
Visa Types & Entry Options
ETA-IL (Visa-Exempt Visitors): Travelers holding passports from visa-exempt countries (such as the United States, Canada, EU nations, and the UK) must obtain an ETA-IL (Electronic Travel Authorization) prior to departure.
Validity: Valid for up to 2 years (or until passport expiration) and allows multiple entries for stays up to 90 days per visit.
Fee: ₪25 (approx. $7 USD).
Processing Time: It is recommended to apply online at least 72 hours before travel.
e-Visa / B/2 Tourist Visa (Non-Exempt Visitors): Citizens of countries requiring a visa (e.g., India, Sri Lanka) can apply for an e-Visa (B/2) online or via an Israeli diplomatic mission before traveling.
Fee: ₪105 for the online e-Visa application.
Allowed Stay: Up to 90 days for tourism, short-term study, or business visits.
Key Entry Requirements
Passport Validity: Your passport must be valid for the entire duration of your stay (or at least 3 to 6 months beyond entry, depending on entry type).
No Passport Stamps: Israel uses automated border control kiosks at Ben Gurion Airport. Instead of physical passport stamps, you will be issued an Electronic Gate Pass card upon entry, which serves as your official tourist ID during your stay.
