Morocco Tourist Visa
Morocco categorizes foreign visitors into three main entry pathways: Visa-Exempt, e-Visa, and Consular (Paper) Visa.
Entry Pathways
Visa-Free Entry (Up to 90 Days): Around 70 countries and territories do not require a visa for tourism.
Eligible Nationalities: US, Canada, UK, EU/EFTA countries, Australia, New Zealand, Japan, South Korea, UAE, Saudi Arabia, China, Brazil, Mexico, Russia, Turkey, among others.
Stay Duration: 90 days (60 days for Dominican Republic; 30 days for Hong Kong, Maldives, Kazakhstan).
e-Visa / AEVM (Electronic Authorization):
Unconditional e-Visa: Citizens of specific countries (e.g., India, Benin, Guatemala, Azerbaijan, Thailand, Philippines) can apply directly online via the official Access-Maroc platform.
Conditional e-Visa: Passport holders of any other country who hold a valid Schengen visa, or a valid residence permit/visa from the US, UK, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, or Japan.
Consular Paper Visa:
Nationalities not eligible for visa-free entry or the e-Visa portal must apply in person at a Moroccan embassy or consulate.
General Requirements for All Visitors
Passport valid for at least 6 months beyond the departure date with at least 1–2 blank pages.
Confirmed return or onward travel ticket.
Proof of accommodation (hotel booking, tour confirmation, or host invitation).
Proof of sufficient financial funds for the stay
