Thailand Tourist Visa
Thailand offers multiple entry options depending on your nationality and length of stay.
Entry Options
Visa Exemption (Visa-Free Entry): Passport holders from over 90 countries (including the US, Canada, UK, EU nations, Australia, New Zealand, and India) can enter Thailand without applying for a visa in advance. Standard stays are valid up to 30 or 60 days, depending on your passport.
Single-Entry Tourist Visa (TR): Allows a stay of up to 60 days, valid for entry within 90 days from issuance. Can be extended once for an additional 30 days at a Thai immigration office.
Multiple-Entry Tourist Visa (METV): Valid for 6 months, allowing multiple entries with stays of up to 60 days per visit.
Standard Entry Requirements
Whether applying for an e-Visa or entering under visa exemption, you must provide:
Passport: Valid for at least 6 months beyond your arrival date.
Proof of Onward Travel: Confirmed return or outbound flight ticket within your allowed stay duration.
Accommodation Details: Confirmed hotel booking or address of stay.
Proof of Funds: Sufficient cash or proof of funds (typically 10,000–20,000 THB per individual).
